September 17, 2011: The GRAMMY Museum and Long Beach Community Action Partnership teamed up for the opening ceremony of "Say It Loud! The Genius of James Brown." The youth from the LAMP Program performed classic songs for the family of James Brown.

The first-day-of-issue ceremony for the Ray Charles commemorative forever stamp, in the Music Icons series, issued Sept. 23, 2013. The ceremony took place at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, Calif. Featured speakers included Reverend Jesse Jackson and Raye Charles Robinson Jr. Additional footage includes clips of performances by Chaka Khan and the Grammy Museum's Summer Sessions.
